Transportation to and from the Wedding Venue(s)
Depending on where you are staying, walking to the welcome party venue may be an option. On the wedding day, we will provide shuttle service to and from the villa for guests traveling from Florence. Shuttle service will also be provided for the goodbye brunch and pool party. Please refer to the weekend itinerary for full details. If you require additional transportation, we recommend booking a taxi in advance. You can reserve a ride through Italy Taxi by emailing info@4390.it or calling +39 055 4390 or +39 055 4242, or through another reputable local company. Please note that while Uber does operate in Florence, the service is limited to Uber Black (noleggio con conducente/private driver), and it can be difficult to find available drivers.
Parking
Yes, parking is available. But, if you plan on raising a glass (or two!) for your safety and enjoyment, we encourage you to take the shuttle or arrange your own transportation.
Shuttle Service
On the wedding day, we will provide shuttle service to and from the villa for guests traveling from Florence. Shuttle service will also be provided for the goodbye brunch and pool party. For other activities, we recommend arranging your own local transportation.
Venue Type
The wedding will be held outdoors, so please prepare for hot and sunny weather. Remember to pack sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses.
Children at the Ceremony and reception
We love your kids, but the ceremony and after-party are for adults. Kids are okay at both the welcome and farewell parties. Please note: The farewell party will be held around a private swimming pool without a lifeguard, so please be mindful. For the wedding day festivities, we suggest arranging for a local babysitter if necessary, and we’ve provided a vetted recommendation below for your convenience. If this poses a significant challenge, please reach out to us.
